Away

There’s something about being away. Freedom to be someone else. But not really. It’s more about being real because nobody knows the me that isn’t.

Sitting alone with my keyboard and malbec in front of the fire, the low murmer of conversation in the background, the clink of the china and cutlery, I’m content.
